Finding Your Flow
Dear Yogis,
Life just happens. Whether you want it to or not , it just continues to change. When things are going well, it’s pretty easy to go with it - we even start to look forward to the next change, optimistic of what will happen.
But, as the old saying goes, what goes up must come down. That’s not pessimistic - that’s just plain realistic. And in those lows, we wish for something different: we wish to be in a different place; we wish to be in a different time. We simply wish some of our precious life away.
So life constantly moves - life ebbs & flows; waxes & wanes; rises & falls. However hard we try tocontrol it - and we almost constantly try to - there is nothing we can do about it.
Even we change: our bodies change; our breath fluctuates; our mind flits.
But even through this constant process of outer change, in our hearts we feel there’s something constant, something solid, something unchanging.
Yoga is a journey to find that centre. Yoga is a process of slowly slipping through those outer layers to get to know our centre, the core of our being.
And once we find it, once we reconnect with it, instead of fighting against that constant outer change, we start to go with it - to flow with it.
And as we flow with it, as we spend each moment with the awareness of the constant change, we truly, deeply experience everything life has to offer.
Life happens. Live WITH it.
